Ta-Da!!!

Drumroll please..............................................

It's finished!!!

My very first quilt!  Still can hardly believe I did it!  Not too bad for a beginner like me, eh?  It's full of mistakes and imperfections, and I love it that way.  It's just like me, so it suits me real well.

That was so much fun...time to start the next one!

WOW!!!! I am very impressed. :-)
You know the Amish purposely make mistakes in their quilts, right? They don't want to sin by pridefully declaring THEIR handiwork is without blemish. Since only God's work is perfect, they make sure their work never is!
Life is like an Amish quilt!

It's beautiful! It's hard to believe that it's your first one. I never learned how to sew, unfortunately, I think it would be a peaceful hobby. Good luck on the next one :)

It turned out beautifully, Jennifer! Way to go!! I really want to make a quilt one of these days ... I better stick to honing my knitting skills for now, but quilting is definitely on my list of things to learn =)

oh I love it.

Well done. I sew a lot of clothes but have never had the courage to do a quilt. Maybe 2010 will be the year for me to try and make one.
